I am officially a pit bull mommy...again! Pancake was a "surprise gift" from my older brother Chey and yes, I named her Pancake. Her full name is "Pancake Magenta" named after these two things:
Pancake... an actual Pancake
& "Magenta" in Blue's Clues!
I've only had my little Pancake for a month and to be honest... IT'S HARD BEING A DOG MOM! Pancake was born on October 2, 2016 so she's still a baby. I've never raised a puppy in my life and it takes a lot of responsibility and patience. I already took her to the vet to get her shots and it was expensive. Our first experience at the vet was great but the bill sure cleaned out my bank account but hey! I'm not complaining she's worth every penny! Pancake is currently teething so she's biting anything and everything around her. I'm also trying to potty train her and I'm still learning more about what she likes and dislikes. So far, she likes EVERYTHING LOL!
I love that Pancake responds to her name already and she literally follows me everywhere I go...even to the bathroom haha! I'm serious. I can wake up in the middle of the night to go pee and Pancake would follow me and wait outside of the door until I'm done. I can tell she's going to grow into a very overprotective dog. I also love that Pancake is both animal and human friendly. I'm going to try my best to make her a friendly social dog. My boyfriend and I are looking forward to our adventures with Pancake and I can't wait to share it with you guys. Now that I'm a pit bull mom, I'll blog about my Pancake more often. The month of December went by so fast... In the photos below, I share a few memories of my first month with Pancake. Click on a picture to make it larger.
