In a perfect world, I would choose to wear yoga pants and loose sweatshirts every single day. Unfortunately, my career as a reporter requires me to dress up nicely. Although I enjoy wearing blouses, slacks and high waisted skirts I will always prefer to be more comfortable.
Dressing up can be way out of my budget sometimes and looking for work clothes could be a challenge. I shuffled through the clothing racks of Forever 21, Macy's and Charlotte Russe hoping to find myself some nice work clothes but everything was super EXPENSIVE.
My last option was to stop by the local thrift store which was Goodwill. As soon as I walked inside of Goodwill I found exactly what I was looking for and here's the best part... each clothing item costed me only $3-$6!!
Here is what I purchased:
Striped collar shirt (one of my favs!)
White and black floral blouse
White collar sweater
Black and white zig zag dress
Orange/red chiffon blouse
Left: I'm not sure what to call this but it's a very pretty blouse haha! Right: Brown polo turtleneck top

Long casual grey top
Black midi body con dress with belt (this was a STEAL! I got it for $6 and the picture does the dress no justice!!!)
I was very pleased with my purchases. Goodwill even had awesome heels BUT I had to close my eyes and walk away because I was on a very tight budget. All in all, I walked outside of the thrift store as one happy shopper!
