Hello Everyone :)

I went to my first ever Rugby World Cup Sevens last month and I had such a great time with family. This international event has been the highlight of my summer. I'm happy I was able to vlog some exciting moments and now I get to share it with you guys!  Check out the video below and stay tuned for more content this month :)

Today is my parent's 32nd Anniversary. I just wanted to take this time to embrace their union because 32 years is a loooong time.  32 years of sticking with each other through the finest moments of life to the unexpected hardships, through surgeries and hospital stays to healing and breakthroughs, through the pain of losing loved ones to the joy of raising a family together. 32 years of making it work and staying committed.

Mom & Dad . . .

On this day 32 years ago, you two lovebirds made a covenant to stay together through the toughest of times. When I look at the both of you today I can't help but to thank God. I pray that your love for Jesus will only grow deeper and that you both will alw...

Happy First Day of Summer everyone,

after two weeks of missing out on the gym to be present at family celebrations I finally got my groove back. This time, my mom tagged along with me. I should've gave my mom a heads up about 24 Hour Fitness employees that pressure you to buy a gym membership when you're a first timer.  I never like when people overwhelm me with so much information ESPECIALLY after I say "No Thank You". My plan was to get my mom in the gym for a good workout and get out but no0o0o0o... we had to get lectured for an hour about how the free trial was a waste of time and mom should sign up for a membership. I must've sat through the whole conversation like. . . .

When we finally got the chance to workout we had to shake off our sluggishness from  liste...

Having long hair can be so much work sometimes. As you'll see in the photos below, my natural hair has plenty of frizz and volume hahaha! My hair stylist has been recommending the Japanese perm to me for a while and I finally gave in. I wanted to share my hair transformation with you all since it's my first time getting a perm.

The Process took about 5 hours but it went by fast because the customer service was great. My hairstylist even hooked me up with some good coffee :) . Yes, the process is long but it's totally worth it because the Japanese perm lasts up to 1 year. If you plan on getting your hair done, I definitely recommend packing snacks in your purse.

Afterthoughts:

My hair is crazy silky! If you have thick hair you would understand my amazement LOL! My hairstylist told...

The gym has become a consistent routine for me over the years. The other day, my boyfriend bought me this gym bag from Ross and it only costed $10! I really like it, not because it's my favorite color, but because it's so motivating. I'm just now getting used to carrying my gym bag around so I thought I'd share what's inside.

H2o

I don't like to rely on the water fountain so I pack my own water bottle. It's important to drink a lot of water before going to the gym because your body is going to lose a lot of water while you workout.

My definition of a Sunday Fun Day in pictures only!

March 15, 2018

Please, excuse my face. The snapchat filter forgot to add contour to my double chin. I haven't taken selfies in awhile because of this very reason LOL! In January, I stepped on the scale at the gym and found out that I gained more weight than expected. I refer to my weight gain as "happy weight" because I like to think it's a combination of consistent gym workouts and my mom's bomb cooking. Well, lack of cardio can be another reason for my recent weight gain but honestly . . .

I am (actually) happy with the weight I put on.

I've always been the "hella skinny" Samoan girl growing up and I would often get teased by my own people for being small. The fact that I'm Samoan makes people view me 100x smaller because my people are known...

Many of us have dealt with horrible customer service while eating at a restaurant. If you haven't experienced bad customer service just go onto Yelp and you will find so many people who share negative reviews. Most of the time, Yelp reviewers complain about bad customer service from waiters.

I can honestly say that I am a very understanding person when it comes to waiting for my food at a restaurant. However, I expect good customer service from the waiter because it's their job..this is what a server signs  up for when they apply to work at a restaurant. When I go out to eat with my man or my family, we want to relax and enjoy our food but unfortunately, it's not always a good time when we dine out.

In my opinion, a bad server is someone who simp...

Happy February everyone!

As you may have noticed, I didn't blog much in January because I was in the middle of moving into a new home with my family and looking for a stable job so I really needed a break from my blog. Welllllll, I finally got my groove back and I'm looking forward to publishing new content this month. Before I even talk about upcoming blog posts let me catch you guys up on how the month of January went for me.

So for Christmas last year, I received a lot of notebooks and I decided to fill the pages up with prayers, goals, church notes and devotionals. I'm happy to say that I went to church every single Sunday in January hahaha! This is an accomplishment for me because I livestream so...

It's the first week of 2018 and I am soooooo here for new beginnings, new goals, and new adventures. I've been in school my whole life and 2017 was a year for me to find stability in the workplace and learn all the important things college didn't teach me. It's safe to say that 2017 wasn't my favorite year (LOL!) but I lived through it and I am so grateful to God for waking me up another day.

Last night as I was writing down my 2018 aspirations, it dawned on me that I am turning twenty-five this year. . . it's a heavy feeling when you feel like you haven't really accomplished any grown folk goals. I cut myself some slack because I'm still learning and working towards where I want to be. I wanted to share three things that I am aiming to do this year. I don't want to call this a New Year's...
